Pouilly-Fumé 2021, Eric Louis

A wonderful, fresh,, with some acidity and currant taste classic white wine from the Pouilly-Fumé region of the central Loire. Sauvignon Blanc grapes are grown in vineyards with a predominantly limestone and silt (Silex) soil. The soil and climate of the region allow for the elegance of the wines and the minerality. Excellent white wine for crabs or other shellfish, smoked fish or sour goat cheese.
