This is delicious fruity rosé champagne from Bouzy Grand Cru Village. It´s a lovely pale pink. A fragrant, ripe berry scent that distinguishes wild strawberries, ripe cherries, and raspberries. Dry, full, juicy and fresh as a whistle. 70% Pinot Noir and 18% Chardonnay and the colour is obtained by adding 12% red wine (Bouzy Rouge) of Pinot Noir. The added sugar (dosage) is 8 g/l. After bottling, the champagne is aged for more than four years.

The Paul Bara is located in the Grand Cru village of Bouzy on the sunny southeastern slope of the Montagne de Reims wine region. The village is generally considered the best place in all of Champagne to grow Pinot Noir. The ripening of its grapes and the mineral content of its deep connecting soil produce Champagne, a mineral that is both spicy and rotting but elastic. The house was founded in 1860, but the Champagnes bearing the name Paul Bara did not begin to be produced and sold until the 1950s. The estate has 11 hectares of vineyards, of which 9.50 hectares are planted with Pinot Noir and 1.50 hectares with Chardonnay. The gardens of the house are divided into 33 columns, all located within the boundaries of the village of Bouzyn Grand Cru. The annual wine production is about 110,000 bottles.
