Barolo i Tre Pais 2018

A quality Barolo from a small, traditional family business. A strong wine with aromas of fig, rose and smoke. It´s a classic Barolo, but it´s already delicious with quality meat dishes and cheese. It´s a great choice for mushrooms, pasta for a slice or tartar. 92/100p James Suckling: Lovely nebbiolo nose of dried cherries, raspberries, polished leather and balsamic. Some welcome, truffly sous-bois, too. Medium-bodied with very fine, lightly firm tannins that provide gentle support to the bright fruit flavors. So tempting now, but hold for a year or two.
