Sauska

Sauska is a family-owned, high-quality modern wine producer. The house has production in both the Tokaji and Villany wine regions. Villany’s production is mainly red wine, while Tokaji’s production focuses on white and sweet wines. The house was founded by Christian Sauska, originally from Villany. Christian moved to the United States in the 1970’s and founded what is now one of the world’s leading lighting companies, LightSources. With the proceeds from his company, Christian founded his homeland’s eponymous winery, which aims to produce world-class wines from Hungary’s traditional wine regions.
