Olivier & Lafont

Maison Olivier & Lafont is a winery founded in 2011 with a focus on classic Rhône wines. The guys behind this are Gérald Lafont and Baptiste Olivier. Both have extensive experience in the production of Rhône Valley wines. Gérald, originally from Avignon, had previously worked for 14 years as a wine consultant in both the North Rhône (Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas) and the South Rhône (Châteauneuf du Pape, Côtes du Rhône), so he has a very strong knowledge of the best vineyards in the region. Originally from the village of Léognan, Bordeaux, Baptiste Olivier has been working as a consultant oenologist since 2004, helping many high-end houses to improve their products. These houses included Pierre Usseglio, Saint-Prefert and Colombis. Together, they have a unique experience in producing the region’s typical high-quality but stylistically delicious Rhône wines.
